This is a quick studio update to explain a few changes to how HOM Studios now operates, what’s included in full studio hire, and how we’re trialling a limited hourly format alongside it.
As HOM Studios continues to grow, we’ve taken time to properly review how the space operates day to day — not just creatively, but practically.
This update explains:
- why our pricing structure changed
- what full studio hire now includes
- and a limited, trial option we’re running alongside it
These changes are about protecting standards, keeping the studio running properly, and making sure HOM remains a space that works long-term.
WHY WE UPDATED OUR PRICING
HOM Studios is now busier than it’s ever been.
The studio itself has grown — more rooms, more equipment, more surfaces, more cleaning, more resetting.
A one-hour turnaround simply isn’t realistic for a space of this size.
From February, full studio bookings now include extended reset windows either side of every session. This ensures:
- proper deep cleaning
- full room resets
- equipment checks
- and a consistent standard for every guest
That reset time is built into the structure, not rushed or improvised. It does reduce how many bookings we can physically fit into a day — but it protects the space and the experience.
WHAT FULL STUDIO HIRE NOW INCLUDES
Full studio hire remains our primary offering.
From bookings made from 01/02/2026, the price now includes access to the entire studio as standard:
- Dungeon / Main Studio
- Bedroom
- Rig Room
- Throne Room
- Prison Cell
- Medical Room
- Editorial Room
- Any new rooms added in future
No add-ons.
No “can we use that room?” conversations.
No hidden extras.
You book the studio — you get the whole monolith.
Minimum full studio booking remains 3 hours, with pricing starting from £150.
WHY WE’RE TRIALING A LIMITED HOURLY FORMAT
Because full studio bookings now require extended reset time, there are occasionally isolated blocks of time that can’t realistically be used for another full booking.
Rather than waste that time entirely, we’re trialling a very limited quiet-period hire option alongside our main offering.
This is not a replacement for full studio hire.
It’s a controlled way to use gaps without compromising how the studio operates.
QUIET-PERIOD / HOURLY HIRE (TRIAL)
This option:
- is manual only (email, not website)
- is limited and not guaranteed
- works around existing full studio bookings
- can only be booked up to 7 days in advance
It is always:
- private hire
- never shared
- only you and your guests in the building
HOM Studios will always remain a private hire space.
Pricing (quiet periods only):
- Main Studio (Dungeon): £50 per hour
- Bedroom / Rig Room: +£20 (must be added to Main Studio)
- Throne Room: £50 per hour
- Medical Room: £50 per hour
- Shower access: £10 (Main Studio only)
- Toilet access is always included
If you’re booking multiple rooms or longer sessions, full studio hire will almost always make more sense.
This format is a trial service, and we’re actively monitoring how it coexists with our main studio bookings.
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES
- Quiet-period bookings cannot be made online
- Further discounts (including memberships) do not apply
- Cancellations with refunds are not possible
- A minimum of 4 days’ notice is required to reschedule
- Security deposits may apply depending on rooms booked

HOM Studios is used by many different people with many different needs. While it’s impossible to please everyone perfectly, we’re committed to refining how the studio operates responsibly — without cutting corners or diluting what makes the space work.
