📍 Where is HOM Studios?
We’re based in Mansfield, East Midlands. Private, discreet, and just far enough off the beaten track to keep things low-key.

🧥 Is HOM Studios discreet?
Very. No signage and no one peering through the windows. We simply ask guests to arrive and leave respectfully. What happens at HOM stays at HOM.

🔒 Do I have exclusive use of the studio?
Yes. When you book HOM Studios, the entire studio is yours. We don’t run shared sessions, open access, or overlapping bookings.

🗓️ How do I book?
Online, WhatsApp, or email. Book your time, secure your slot, and we’ll take care of the rest.

🔑 When will I receive my access code?
Access codes are normally sent automatically before your booking. If you haven’t received yours before travelling, please get in touch.

❌ What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancel with 10 days’ notice for a full refund.

Need to move your booking instead? We offer one free reschedule provided you contact us at least 4 days before your booking. Your new date must be selected at the time of the request and is subject to availability.

Each booking may only be rescheduled once.

If you cancel with less than 10 days’ notice, no refund will be available. If you contact us at least 4 days before your booking, we’ll do our best to help you move the booking to another available date instead.

🚗 Can I arrive early?
Please arrive at your booked start time. Earlier access isn’t usually possible as the studio may still be occupied or being cleaned and prepared for the next booking.

⏰ What are your hours?
24/7. Bookings are available day and night.

👥 What’s the maximum capacity?
Up to 15 guests. Standard bookings include up to 4 people, with additional guests charged at £25 each. Planning something a little bigger? Drop us an email and we’ll see what we can do.

💳 What does the security deposit cover?
Damage, overstays, excessive cleaning, missing items, or breaches of our terms. It’s £100 for groups up to 6 people and £250 for groups of 7–15, refunded after we’ve checked the studio.

📸 Can I film and take photos?
Yes. That’s what we’re made for. Whether it’s a solo shoot, a group scene, or just capturing the aftermath, we’re ready.

🎬 Can I use the studio for commercial shoots?
Absolutely. Professional photographers, videographers, brands, and content creators are all welcome.

📡 Can I livestream?
Yes, provided all participants have consented and the content complies with relevant laws and platform rules.

🎒 Can I bring my own gear?
Absolutely. Just let us know in advance if you’re bringing anything unusual, large, or requiring power.

🔌 Is there power available for equipment?
Yes. Power sockets are available throughout the studio for lighting, cameras, chargers, and other equipment.

🎉 Can I use HOM Studios for events?
Depends what you’ve got in mind. If it’s legal, safe, and suitable for the space, probably yes. Drop us the details and we’ll let you know.

🎓 Can I run a class or private session?
Yes. Tell us what you’ve got planned and we’ll let you know if the space is suitable.

👀 Can I tour the studio first?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer in-person tours due to how busy the studio is. The good news is that we now have a fully interactive virtual tour, allowing you to explore the studio, view the facilities, and get a feel for the space before booking.

🧸 Are toys and equipment included?
Yes. Most toys, furniture, restraints, and equipment within the studio are included in your booking. Certain specialist items may be available as optional extras and will be clearly marked on the booking page.

🏥 Is the Medical Room included?
The Medical Room is available as an optional add-on and can be selected during the booking process.

⚡ Can I hire additional equipment?
Yes. A selection of specialist equipment is available to hire as optional extras when booking. Availability and pricing can be found on the booking page.

🏳️‍🌈 Is HOM Studios LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely. HOM Studios welcomes everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, identity, experience level, or relationship style.

🏢 Will anyone else be in the studio during my booking?
No. The studio is hired on an exclusive-use basis, meaning the space is yours for the duration of your booking.

🧼 How clean is it?
Spotless. Every surface, every toy, and every room is cleaned, disinfected, and reset between bookings. Toys are sanitised, floors are cleaned, bathrooms are refreshed, and the studio is checked from top to bottom before the next guest arrives. We use professional cleaning products throughout and carry out regular deep cleans to maintain the standards we’re known for. The result is a clean, well-maintained space that’s ready for you from the moment you arrive.

🎥 Are there CCTV cameras inside?
No. External cameras only. Your privacy matters to us.

🔊 Can I make a lot of noise?
Absolutely. We’re soundproofed, fitted with noise bafflers, and surrounded by people who tend to keep to themselves. Just remember to keep the fire doors closed and curtains drawn during your session.

🚬 Can I smoke inside?
No smoking indoors. It’s illegal, it sets off alarms, and it’s not worth losing your deposit. Vaping is fine, just stay clear of smoke detectors.

🚫 Any activity restrictions?
As long as it’s legal, consensual, and won’t damage the studio, you’re generally good to go.

🍷 Drinking or substances?
Please drink responsibly. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited, and anyone behaving in an unsafe manner may be asked to leave.

🔞 Do I need to be over 18?
Yes. All guests must be 18 or over.

📋 Are there house rules?
Yes. You’ll receive a copy before your booking. They’re straightforward, sensible, and designed to help everyone have a great experience.

💄 Is there a dressing room?
Yes. The studio includes a dedicated dressing area with large illuminated mirrors, seating, and space to prepare before your shoot or session.

🚿 Are showers available?
Yes. The studio has shower facilities available for guest use.

🧻 Are towels provided?
Towels are available as an optional extra when booking. You’re also welcome to bring your own.

🔥 Is the studio heated?
Yes. The studio benefits from both heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable throughout the year.

🌐 Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the studio.

🥤 Can I bring snacks or drinks?
Of course. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We also stock a selection of soft drinks and snacks which are available to purchase during your visit.

🚗 Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is available directly outside the unit and along Sylvester Street. We also offer EV charging for guests, just let us know in advance.

✨ What extras do you offer?
EV charging, on-site parking, refreshments, optional equipment hire, and a few extra touches along the way. Members enjoy additional perks and discounts.

💤 Can I book overnight?
Yes, but only with a minimum 10-hour booking. Anything shorter between 10pm and 8am incurs a £30 call-out fee.

👤 Can I bring assistants or extras?
Yes. Just make sure they are included within your guest numbers.

💳 Payment options?
Card, bank transfer, or PayPal.

📞 What if I need help during my session?
We’re never far away. Send us a message and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

🚪 What if I get locked out?
Send us a message and we’ll help you regain access as quickly as possible.

📦 What if I leave something behind?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to locate it and arrange collection or postage where practical.

💥 What if I break something?
Please let us know as soon as possible. Accidents happen, and we’re always happier when we’re told straight away so we can put things right.

🎈 Can I decorate?
Yes. Balloons, banners, and battery-powered decorations are welcome. Please avoid glitter, wax, confetti, or anything likely to damage the studio.

🧳 Can I store equipment between bookings?
Not normally, unless agreed in advance.

🧑‍💻 Do you offer technical support?
Basic assistance, yes. For anything more complex, please bring your own technician or arrange support in advance.

💸 Do you do discounts?
Yes. Members receive exclusive discounts and benefits throughout the year. It’s well worth a look if you’re planning to visit regularly.

📌 Special requests?
Always welcome. If you’ve got something specific in mind, just ask.

📌 Do I have to tag HOM Studios in my posts?
No. We understand some content is private. However, content created at HOM Studios must not be tagged as having been filmed at another venue.

💭 You’re a small studio. Why do you care?
Because we’ve invested an enormous amount of time, money, and effort into building HOM Studios. Correct attribution helps support the business and ensures people know where the content was actually created.

🛠 Can I tag brands or partners I’m working with?
Of course. Tag your favourite brands, labels, photographers, and collaborators. Just don’t tag another venue in content filmed at HOM Studios.

🚫 Can I tag HOM Studios in content filmed elsewhere?
No. We take our brand seriously, and if content wasn’t created at HOM Studios, please don’t tag us.
