🎄 December 50/50 Booking Terms
Please read these terms carefully before booking. By making the initial payment, you confirm that you accept these terms.
1. Eligibility. The 50/50 payment option applies only to eligible HOM Studios bookings taking place between 1 December and 31 December 2026 inclusive and booked more than 30 days before the scheduled start time. Bookings made 30 days or less before arrival must be paid in full.
2. Initial payment. A payment equal to 50% of the total booking price is required to secure the booking. A date is not reserved, held or confirmed until HOM Studios has received the initial payment. Enquiries alone do not reserve a date.
3. Remaining balance. The remaining 50% is due no later than 30 days before the scheduled booking date. The second payment forms part of the agreed booking price and is not optional.
4. Failure to pay. If the outstanding balance is not received by the due date, HOM Studios reserves the right to cancel the booking and release the date for resale. Any amount already paid will not be refunded or converted to Studio Credit where the booking is cancelled because the customer has failed to pay the outstanding balance by the deadline.
5. Cancellation. Once the initial payment has been made, the booking is subject to the HOM Studios cancellation and refund policy applicable at the time the booking is made. The 50/50 payment option does not provide any additional cancellation, refund, rescheduling or Studio Credit rights.
6. Cancellation does not remove amounts already due. Where a customer cancels, any refund, credit or outstanding payment entitlement will be determined exclusively in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy. Choosing to pay by instalments does not alter the contractual value of the booking or circumvent the applicable cancellation terms.
7. Booking amendments. Changes to the date, duration, number of guests, rooms or other booking requirements are subject to availability and HOM Studios’ normal amendment terms. Where an amendment increases the booking price, the additional amount will be added to the outstanding balance or become payable immediately at HOM Studios’ discretion. A reduction to the booking after confirmation does not automatically entitle the customer to a reduction or refund of amounts already committed.
8. Prices. Once the booking has been confirmed and the initial payment received, the agreed price for the confirmed booking will be honoured. Any later additions or upgrades will be charged at the prices applicable when those additions are requested.
9. Promotions and credit. The December 50/50 payment option cannot be combined with promotional discount codes, promotional Studio Credit offers or other special offers unless HOM Studios expressly confirms otherwise in writing. Existing Studio Credit may only be used where expressly agreed before the booking is confirmed.
10. Security deposit. The 50/50 arrangement applies to the booking price only. Any applicable security deposit remains separate and must be paid in accordance with HOM Studios’ normal security deposit requirements. Security deposits cannot be offset against the outstanding booking balance.
11. Additional charges. Any cleaning fees, overtime charges, damages, consumables, additional guests or other charges arising under HOM Studios’ standard booking terms remain payable separately where applicable.
12. Standard terms remain applicable. All HOM Studios’ standard booking terms, venue rules, security deposit requirements and other applicable policies continue to apply. Where these December 50/50 terms deal specifically with instalment payments, these provisions apply alongside the standard booking terms.
13. Availability. All bookings remain subject to availability and HOM Studios reserves the right to refuse a requested date before a booking has been confirmed and the initial payment received.
